If you enjoy working across teams, take pride in accuracy, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact and grow your experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies as required.

  • Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the department’s Table of Accountability (ToA) and RACI matrix.

  • Support the ad-hoc day-to-day business needs associated with safe, technically robust, regulatory, legislative and efficient operations.

Role Specific

  • Support the electricity side of this multi-utility role by maintaining accurate MPAN records across internal and industry systems, ensuring information is kept up to date and in line with market requirements.
  • Process and support electricity market activities, including actioning industry dataflows and handling new electrical meter registrations, updates and de-registrations through MPRS, Infinity and ECOES, with a focus on accuracy and timely completion.
  • Carry out data cleanse activities across internal and industry systems to help ensure MPAN and metering records remain accurate, aligned and up to date, identifying discrepancies and supporting the correction of data where needed.
  • Processing C2 plant enquiry requests for electric, water and heat networks.
  • Processing CONS29 Drainage & Water Searches.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Operational Management Team as and when required.
  • Monitoring of various mailboxes and distribution to the relevant department/s.
  • Assist with the process of Points of Connection (POC) request within the Asset Management team.
  • Support other functions within the Business Operations Support Team should the need arise in order to provide cover as and when required.

About You

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate and display professionalism at all levels.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adjust priorities if/when urgent matters arise.

We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence working across multiple systems and processes. Previous experience with MPAN administration or electricity industry processes, including dataflows, registrations or market systems, would be highly beneficial. Experience in water or other utility areas would be an advantage, but this can be developed with training for the right candidate.
