The Opportunity
We're looking for a friendly and customer-focused Customer Assistant to join our Branch Network team.
This is an exciting opportunity to build a career within financial services while making a genuine difference to our members. As one of the first points of contact for customers, you'll play a key role in creating positive experiences, identifying customer needs and helping members access the products and services that are right for them.
You'll work as part of a supportive team, contribute to the success of the branch and have opportunities to develop your skills, knowledge and career within an award-winning organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
β Delivering outstanding service to customers across face-to-face, telephone and digital channels.
β Building strong relationships with new and existing members.
β Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services or referring customers to specialist colleagues.
β Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
β Supporting branch performance and helping achieve branch objectives.
β Acting as an ambassador for the Society and promoting our values in everything you do.
β Participating in community and branch initiatives to strengthen our presence locally.
β Taking ownership of your development through training, coaching and continuous learning opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Essential
β Experience working in a customer-facing or service-focused environment.
β Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
β Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
β Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
β A positive, professional and customer-focused approach.
β Good numeracy and literacy skills.

β Experience working within financial services.
