Job Purpose
The assistant will play a key role in the final stages of production, ensuring that the product is completed to a high standard prepared for delivery. The assistant should be able to feed and take off on the machine that they are asked to work on (training will be provided). The assistant requires the ability to follow detailed instructions and have a passion for delivering quality products. The assistant should be fully aware of any health and safety issues, particularly the stop button systems employed on each machine.
Responsibilities
- The assistant will feed the blanks into the machine in the correct manner.
- Carry out duties involved in the packing machine including feeding outers with relevant labels. xgikmsk
- Assist the machine minder in both the removal and the basic setting of the easy feeder and inverter
- Gain knowledge of quality issues, including recognizing an amount of print and cut and crease issues, using the correct terminology as far as possible.
