Leeds University Union (LUU) is a charity that helps students. Located at the heart of campus, the Union is a space to meet people, make new friends and get involved.
As our Student Groups Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting LUU’s award-winning student-led Clubs and Societies programme. You’ll empower student leaders to deliver fun, safe, inclusive, and high-quality activities by coordinating development opportunities, engagement communications, and compliance with health and safety processes. You’ll be embedded in the Student Groups team, empowering our student societies to take their plays up to Edinburgh Fringe, engage in student activism on campus, and provide a peer-to-peer support service to support student wellbeing.
You’ll provide tailored support to student leaders through training, regular check-ins, and project planning, ensuring they feel confident, celebrated, and equipped to lead. You’ll also contribute to campaigns that showcase student achievements, ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to secure safe, high-quality activity spaces.
