About the role: Leeds University Union is growing its Marketing and Communications department, creating an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that‘s at the forefront of using data and insight to make sure every student loves their time at Leeds. As our Marketing Project Coordinator (Enterprise), you will be the driving force behind our strategic marketing campaigns. You will act as the ultimate bridge builder—working closely with our internal communications team, student groups, the university, and external suppliers to ensure major projects are delivered beautifully, on budget, and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Planning: Define the scope, timelines, and budgets for key marketing campaigns on Asana. Lead the idea generation phase and support the manager in mapping out the wider team's goals.
- Campaign Delivery: Ensure all components of our integrated marketing plans (asset design, video/photo delivery, web content, and copywriting) are resourced properly and delivered to a high standard.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal LUU teams, student groups, external suppliers, and the University of Leeds marketing departments to seamlessly coordinate campaign activity.
- Resource & Budget Control: Keep all project documentation organized, monitor campaign performance against set budgets, and proactively escalate any roadblocks to the team.
- Creative Support: Jump in with ad-hoc copywriting and asset support whenever a campaign needs a creative boost.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities align with LUU’s internal procedures, data protection (GDPR), and Health & Safety requirements.
About you: With experience in a marketing role working across various channels, including print, digital, social, engaging with a range of stakeholders both external and internal, you will have an interest in working for a charity that aims to ensure every student at the University of Leeds loves their time at university.
You’ll need:
- Experience working in a marketing team
- Experience coordinating/managing multiple marketing campaigns
- Experience delegating work, setting deadlines and self‑managing your own workload
- Detailed knowledge of marketing techniques and industry trends
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deal with a diverse range of people.
