At Leeds Trinity University, we aspire to make a difference to the people, the professions, and the places that we serve, and we are looking for talented and enthusiastic people to join our University community. We are looking to recruit Visiting Lecturers on an hourly‑paid basis to provide short‑term teaching cover, and specialist commercial input, for the Quantity Surveying programme.
Duties include preparation of learning materials and student assignments, formal scheduled teaching, student assessment, marking of students’ work and conducting tutorials and tripartite progress review meetings. Please note that associated preparation, student support and marking are included within the hourly rate.
In the first instance, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveying professional to deliver the apprenticeship module in Measurement & Costing, aligned to industry practice and the New Rules of Measurement (NRM), with hands‑on use of estimating software (such as COSTX and Catto). Previous teaching experience, particularly within Higher Education and/or work‑based learning is desirable, and we are particularly keen to hear from applicants who are familiar with RICS.
