We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Manager of Systems to lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of key enterprise systems across the University. Reporting to the Director of IT and Information Systems, you will lead technical teams responsible for critical platforms including student records, digital learning, finance, corporate systems and integrations. You will play a key role in shaping systems strategy, driving Agile delivery, improving services and ensuring systems meet the needs of students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing systems teams.
- Drive Agile delivery, sprint planning and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the delivery and support of critical University systems.
- Manage major incidents, priorities and resource allocation.
- Develop service standards, SLAs and performance measures.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and partners.
- Support budget management and strategic planning.
- Contribute to the wider leadership and management community.
About You
You will be a collaborative technology leader with experience managing enterprise systems and technical teams in a complex environment. You'll have strong Agile delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management skills and a track record of delivering high-quality services while balancing operational needs with strategic improvement. Experience managing suppliers, budgets and business-critical systems is essential.
This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely and at our city centre campus, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
