Leeds Trinity University is seeking an outstanding strategic leader to join us as Interim Director of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions providing vision and direction during a pivotal period for the institution. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the University's approach to marketing, student recruitment and admissions to influence its market position through brand development, improved student recruitment performance, high-impact marketing activity, and enhanced external profile.

As Interim Director of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions you will play a critical role in enhancing the University's reputation, increasing its regional and national influence, and delivering ambitious, insight-led student recruitment outcomes. You will provide strategic leadership across our marketing, student recruitment, outreach, admissions and digital engagement, ensuring these functions operate as high-performing, innovative teams aligned with institutional priorities.

You will lead the development and refinement of an integrated marketing, student recruitment and admissions strategy and operating model, providing future vision and strategic oversight of a contemporary, agile service, and ensure the delivery of effective evidence-based student recruitment campaigns that increase applications and improve conversion throughout the recruitment cycle. You will also hold strategic accountability for admissions, ensuring an excellent and inclusive applicant experience aligned with widening participation and recruitment targets.

In addition, you will lead on partnership-building activity, strengthening our relationships with key stakeholders relevant to the University's portfolio including local authorities, employers, schools and colleges, and civic organisations to support growth and widening influence.

We are looking for an experienced senior leader with a strong track record in marketing strategy, student recruitment, audience insight and brand positioning. You will bring deep expertise in market intelligence and data-led decision-making, with the ability to evaluate trends, monitor performance, and adapt activity to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will also be an inspiring values-led people leader, capable of empowering teams, driving innovation, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

You will be a credible and influential leader who can build strong relationships across the institution, act as a trusted adviser to senior colleagues, and champion excellence in marketing, recruitment and admissions.
