We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the effective management of IT contracts and commercial agreements across the University. Reporting to the Delivery Partner - Professional Services & Critical Technologies, you will play a key role in ensuring contracts deliver value for money, minimise risk and support the University's strategic objectives. Working closely with colleagues across IT, Procurement, Finance and Legal Services, you will manage the full contract lifecycle while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT contracts, including renewals, variations and terminations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for contract-related matters between the University and suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations, KPIs and service levels.
  • Work with Procurement and Legal Services to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and governance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation.
  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to support projects and procurement activities.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk reduction and service improvements.
  • Lead supplier review meetings and support supplier relationship management activities.
  • Provide reports and assurance to senior stakeholders on contract performance, risks and upcoming renewals.
About You

You will be an organised and commercially aware contract management professional with experience managing supplier contracts and commercial relationships in a complex organisation. You will have strong negotiation, stakeholder management and analytical skills, alongside experience monitoring supplier performance, managing risk and ensuring contractual compliance.

You will be confident working with procurement, legal and technical teams, with a strong understanding of governance, data protection and regulatory requirements. Experience of managing IT contracts and working within the public sector or higher education environment would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maximising the value of the University's technology investments and supplier partnerships. This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely and at our city centre campus, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
