We are looking for experienced, dynamic, motivated and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurses to join our teams on L03, L04, L06, and J54. You will ensure the consistent delivery of high‑quality patient‑centred care to patients in our critical care units. Successful candidates may rotate across the five units (J54, SJUHJ81, SJUHL03, LGIL04, LGIL06) to gain wide experience.

Job responsibilities:
- The role is to provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised programmes of care.
- You will deliver care without supervision and be the prime care provider for a group of patients, promoting confidence in our commitment to excellent compassionate patient care.
- You will take charge of the ward or department as necessary in the absence of the sister or charge nurse.
- Participate in in‑service training, preceptorship and mentorship of junior staff and maintain your personal development.

Requirements and qualifications:
- Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or 2 with current registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register.
- Post‑qualification experience; if newly qualified, a student nursing placement in Critical Care.
- Awareness of current issues in health care and critical care speciality.
- Caring, compassionate and motivated with reliable and trustworthy behaviour.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
- Ability to organise, prioritise workload and develop team members.
- Capable of lateral thinking and fulfilment of occupational health requirements.
