This is a 10 PA appointment for a Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, available immediately as a substantive position.

Job responsibilities:

  • Deliver 10 PA supporting the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department, participating in the Tier 3 resident rota and delivering regular clinical sessions by mutual agreement.
  • Provide Antenatal out‑patient clinics, Gynaecology out‑patient clinics, elective Caesarean section lists, Ambulatory areas and post‑natal ward reviews.
  • Contribute to multi‑disciplinary team meetings, incident reviews, audit and teaching.
  • Offer mentoring and support within the department; develop interests in colposcopy, hysteroscopy, gynaecology surgery, maternal medicine, fetal medicine, high‑risk obstetrics, recurrent miscarriage, or other areas of interest.

Qualifications:

  • Established skills and confidence in obstetrics and gynaecology, able to deliver resident middle‑grade clinical activity.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Strong commitment to teaching and service development.

Experience:

  • Experience in a senior obstetrics and gynaecology setting is desirable.
