Join our Acute Oncology team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as an Acute Oncology Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a key role in assessing and managing acutely unwell oncology patients as an autonomous practitioner. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills, contribute to service development and quality improvement, and educate and support colleagues. We are looking for a confident, compassionate and motivated nurse who is passionate about acute oncology, thrives in an acute environment and is ready to make a real difference to patients and their families.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate nurse who can provide strong clinical leadership and support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. You will bring:
- Significant post-registration nursing experience and experience in a clinical leadership role.
- A strong understanding of professional standards, current nursing priorities and health and social care issues.
- Experience of clinical audit, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Experience of service development and managing change within a clinical environment.
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing clinical team.
- The confidence to identify and address challenges, using initiative and sound professional judgement.
- A positive, flexible and innovative approach to change and service improvement.
- The ability to learn from incidents, complaints and feedback and translate learning into improved practice.
