Are you ready to use your project management skills in a way that makes a positive impact on peoples lives? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to become a member of our projects and programmes team within the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to either a programme manager or a head of delivery, your role will lead teams to deliver key projects across the trust that support the trust’s digital strategy. These fixed‑term roles are for 12 months specifically to work on high profile projects in our Radiology and Pathology CSUs. What you will bring to the role

  • Project management qualification.
  • End‑to‑end project management experience.
  • Strong leadership/management skills with the ability to support the development of more junior project staff.
  • Experience of working in a technical or healthcare setting.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience of working within a defined project management methodology including the creation and management of relevant artefacts.
  • Understanding of national NHS strategies/policies and the challenges currently faced by the NHS.
  • Securing and monitoring substantial project budgets.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work autonomously across a range of work areas.
