We are inviting applicants to fill our Senior Fellows vacancy at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the Department of Plastic Surgery. This post is available from August 2026 but the start date can be flexible on mutual agreement and is fixed term for 6 months initially with a possible extension, based on the training requirements of the individual. Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a licence to practise by the intended start date.
Main duties of the job include:
- Fellowships tailored to meet the training needs of the individual
- Upper limb Transplant
- Head and Neck
- Breast
- Micro Skin Oncology
- Lower limb and Sarcoma
The routine work includes care of patients in the Leeds General Infirmary, attendance at theatre lists and out-patient clinics where areas of need for particular sub-specialisation will be addressed with the supervising consultant. These will need to be clearly defined from the outset by the successful candidate. The post is full-time. The candidate will be expected to have background training in Plastic Surgery to a high level and have completed the FRCS (Plast) or equivalent.
