Main duties of the job
AsProject Manager responsible for developing Research across the MedicalPhysics and Clinical Engineering Department, you will work closely with theLead for Research & Innovation andRadiotherapy Imaging and a complex range of stakeholders, includingindustry, academia, and the NHS.

The scientific and technical sections within the Departmentare: Radiotherapy Physics, Radionuclide & MRI Physics, ClinicalEngineering, Radiological Physics and Clinical Scientific Computing. Overallthe Department has approximately 350 staff.

- Has experience of managing projects in a structured environment ideally in accordance with the NHS standard for Project Management (Prince 2).
- Has experience of delivering projects which deliver systems & support in clinical environments which required clinical & non-clinical staff to modify their way of working
- Has successfully introduced new or updated systems to meet user requirements.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Has experience of projects that span multiple organisations.
- Has contributed to the development of strategy and its tactical implementation.
