An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated and proactive Children's Nurse to join the Children's Quality Team. This role is ideally suited to a passionate individual who is committed to improving patient safety and enhancing the quality of care across the Children's Hospital. The Clinical Quality Practitioner plays a key role in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, safe and effective patient care. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will identify, assess and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and embed a strong culture of continuous quality improvement. This position forms part of the clinical effectiveness arm of the Quality Team, responding to emerging patient safety issues and risks across the organisation.

The hospital offers both general and highly specialised services across a wide range of specialties including Neonatology, Paediatric Intensive Care, Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology and long‑term condition management. Job responsibilities:
- Support and progress the Children’s Hospital Ward Accreditation programme.
- Lead and contribute to Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives focused on patient safety, including pressure ulcer prevention, falls reduction, and medication safety.
- Support the ongoing implementation, monitoring and assurance of clinical standards and best practice.
