Clinical Fellow ST3-5 in Paediatric Cardiology at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Fixed term 12 months based at Leeds General Infirmary. Suitable for applicants at ST3+ with experience in Congenital Cardiology.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in elective and non‑elective inpatient and outpatient Paediatric Cardiology settings.
- Assist with ward patient management, Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Cardiology.
- Contribute to service delivery in congenital cardiology, including support for advanced echo, cross‑sectional imaging, cardiac catheterisation, fetal cardiology and electrophysiology as appropriate.
- Co‑operate with the multidisciplinary team – doctors, nurses, allied health professionals – to deliver high quality patient care.
- Report to Dr Dominic Hares as clinical supervisor and clinical training lead.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full GMC registration and licence to practice by start date.
- Registered at ST3 or above with an interest in Paediatric Cardiovascular medicine.
- Experience in congenital cardiology or related Paediatric Cardiology clinical work is desirable.
