The Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role within the National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC), leading the successful delivery and deployment of innovative digital pathology solutions across NHS organisations nationwide. Working closely with clinical, technical and operational teams, the post holder will manage complex digital deployment projects, ensuring delivery to agreed quality, timescales and budgets while supporting transformational change across healthcare services.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project or programme professional with a strong background in digital transformation, IM&T or clinical systems delivery. The successful candidate will build collaborative relationships with NHS Trusts, suppliers and stakeholders, oversee deployment planning and governance, and support the continued expansion of NPIC's nationally recognised digital pathology platform. Job responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with a strong background in project or programme management within digital, IM&T or healthcare environments. You will bring proven experience of delivering complex digital deployments, managing multiple stakeholders and driving transformational change across organisations. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with both clinical and non-clinical teams.
You will have experience in developing and monitoring project plans, managing budgets and supplier relationships, and supporting the implementation of digital systems and service improvements. Strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and experience of working within large, complex organisations will be essential. We are seeking someone who is collaborative, delivery-focused and committed to improving healthcare services through innovation and technology.
