Great Preston CE (VC) Primary School is a GOOD school. We would like to recruit a full-time teacher for our Reception class, starting after the Easter holiday, 2026.

We are a fun and dynamic staff who care deeply for all of our children and families. We expect very high standards, but give so much back in support, professional development and care.

The successful candidate will share our drive and have a passion and commitment to ensuring that all of our pupils achieve their true potential.

If you are a highly motivated teacher with the following skills and attributes, we would welcome an application. We are looking for an applicant who:

  • Has experience of working in Early Years, is an excellent classroom practitioner and has a passion for delivering outstanding, fun and 'sticky' learning
  • Has high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour
  • Is innovative and creative
  • Has a passion for educating children with a 'can do' attitude
  • Is enthusiastic and organised
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and has the ability to work collaboratively with children, parents and staff.
