An exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary (maternity leave cover) part time Higher Level Teaching Assistant who has good subject knowledge, delivers high quality lessons, is motivated, has excellent communication skills and is a good team player to join our Greenside team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Already have a HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to think creatively and plan activities which allow pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Have a good knowledge of assessment and be able to use it to inform planning and improve progress.
  • Believe that every child can succeed and is committed to inclusion.
  • Be able to teach across the whole school from Reception to Year 6, contributing to the wellbeing of all our pupils.
  • Be a committed and hardworking individual with high expectations of all children.
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of children.
