Leeds Pivot are an independent special school operating over four sites in very close proximity. Our curriculum offer is focused on developing the whole learner, working with their interests to engage them in education. This is for them to feel successful and to take positive steps in their journey to adulthood and beyond. We have a variety of offers and pathways to meet the needs for learners with Autism, complex social interaction needs, emotional challenges and other learning needs.

We are currently seeking a Careers Advisor to champion and embed careers information and guidance within our academy. We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working with young people with complex needs, who can engage and inspire.

This is an exciting role at Pivot, giving candidates the chance to ensure all our learners are prepared for future success in education, employment, or training, with particular attention to those with SEN and SEMH needs. You will work collaboratively with staff, parents/carers and external partners to deliver an ambitious, inclusive careers programme that prepares all learners for their next steps.

The desirable candidate will have experience in a similar role and knowledge of education, training and career opportunities available to learners post 16.
