CONTRACT TYPE: 1-year fixed term

We have an exciting strength and conditioning opportunity within our Women\’s Rugby League program. The successful candidate will lead our Women\’s U19 Strength & Conditioning program, as well as our Girls U16 Strength & Conditioning programme. As a club that prides itself on developing junior players for our senior teams, the successful candidate will be tasked with delivering a high quality physical development programme, as well as working to provide our Women\’s Super League team with highly athletic, fit and healthy junior female players. The successful candidate will be able to learn and develop their strength and conditioning knowledge and coaching under our full time staff, aligning with principles and standards set from our Head Strength and Conditioning coach.

The Responsibilities For The Role Will Include

  • Lead in the planning and delivery of Under-19s gym-based strength and conditioning sessions.
  • Lead in the planning and delivery of Under-16s gym-based strength and conditioning sessions.
  • Aid in the testing and monitoring of our athletes, using software such as forceplate technology.
  • Deliver gym and field based warmups.
  • Aid in and deliver match day warmups.
  • Take part in strength and conditioning department CPD sessions.

Working Hours For The Role Will Be As Follows

The role we are advertising will be 8 hours per week and evening based, with occasional weekend matchdays that you would be required to attend.

  • Two nights per week, ranging from 5pm session start time, to 8:30pm session finish time.
  • Match days for our Under-19s Academy team, 12-14 games taking place mainly on Wednesdays or Sundays. These are subject to fixture date change and will run from March 2026 through to August 2026.
