About you

We are keen to hear from candidates who bring strategic financial expertise and a collaborative, values-led approach. You are likely to have:

  • The ability to analyse financial information and explain it clearly to non-financial colleagues
  • An interest in charity finance, governance and stewardship (previous charity experience is welcome but not essential)
  • The confidence to provide constructive challenge while remaining supportive and approachable
  • Commercial or business experience, alongside an understanding of the charity sector, would be particularly valuable.

Time commitment

Approximately 4–8 hours per month, including:

  • Board meetings
  • Finance Committee meetings
  • Ad hoc support

The role is voluntary, with reasonable expenses reimbursed. The appointment is for an initial three-year term.
