We’re looking for a Gardener to support the day-to-day delivery of grounds maintenance, estate management, and improvement works across Leeds Federated.
Internally referred to as Grounds Maintenance Operative
What you’ll do:
- Carry out grounds and estate maintenance across communal areas, following set schedules and instructions
- Complete grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, planting, fencing, and litter picking
- Use tools, equipment, and machinery safely and report any issues or defects
- Always follow health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Engage positively with tenants and represent Leeds Federated in a professional manner
- Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure high standards are maintained
What we’re looking for:
- Some experience in gardening, grounds maintenance or a practical outdoor role
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage your daily workload
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering good customer service
- Hold a full UK driving licence (essential)
