At Leeds Events, we're looking for confident, motivated people who enjoy working with others and would like the opportunity to develop their leadership skills alongside practical sales and events experience.
We're a people-focused events and marketing company working on face-to-face promotional campaigns across Leeds and the surrounding areas.
This isn't an office-based management position, and you won't be expected to lead a team from day one. You'll start by getting involved in the campaigns themselves, learning how things work and developing the skills needed to take on more responsibility.
What you'll be getting involved in
- Engaging with customers at live events, shopping centres and promotional locations
- Learning how successful sales and customer engagement campaigns operate
- Developing your communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Working alongside experienced team members and learning from their approach
- Building confidence in motivating, supporting and working with others
- Gaining exposure to campaign planning, coordination and team leadership as your experience develops
Who we're looking for
We're not looking for the finished article. We're looking for potential.
Previous leadership or sales experience isn't essential. You might have worked in hospitality, retail, customer service or sport. You might be a recent graduate, or simply someone who enjoys taking initiative and wants to challenge themselves.
You'll probably fit in well if you:
- Enjoy meeting people and working as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude and aren't afraid to get involved
- Communicate confidently and listen just as well
- Take responsibility rather than waiting to be asked
- Enjoy a challenge and want to keep improving
- Have an interest in developing leadership skills over time
