Qualifications

  • Qualified to, or willing to work towards, at least a Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration and Airconditioning.
  • Hold a current F‑GAS Qualification.
  • Super‑organised and take pride in your work.
  • Keen to inspire the next generation of engineers, supporting our staff and students.

Hours: 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support, supervision and instruction to students, overseen by the lecturer.
  • Ensuring tools, workshops and machinery are maintained and clean, complying with manufacturers and health and safety requirements.
  • Demonstrating skills to small groups or individuals as requested by teaching staff.

Experience

  • Relevant industrial experience would be invaluable, along with experience of sharing your skills in an educational/training environment.
