Hours: 37 per week

Leeds College of Building is the UK\’s only specialist further education construction college with an excellent reputation for quality education in Construction and the Built Environment.

We are looking for a qualified lecturer willing to share their knowledge and skills with pre and post 16 students. You should have relevant industry experience and the ability to deliver multi-trade courses with a qualification at Level 3 or above. The ability to communicate effectively with young people and adults and enthusiasm to help them achieve their qualification is essential. The Skills Academy has a wide and varied curriculum; we are looking for a new team member to predominantly work with 14-19 year olds.

Responsibilities

The role involves delivering multi-trade courses to predominantly 14-19 year olds within the Skills Academy, sharing industry knowledge and supporting students to achieve their qualifications. Experience of teaching/training is desirable but not essential; a willingness to undertake teaching and assessing qualifications is essential.

Qualifications
