Overview

Leeds College of Building is seeking a teaching professional to join our team. This is a teaching role which involves workshops and classroom learning. Your priority will be to engage and inspire our students to achieve their full potential. This role is contract/term-time 37 hours per week.

Hours: 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating and teaching practical skills in our workshops.
  • Delivering theoretical lessons to support the practical applications.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation?
  • Industrial experience would be invaluable, along with experience of sharing your skills in an educational/training environment.
  • A teaching qualification is not essential, and the College will fund and support you to achieve this.

This role is eligible for the DfE Levelling Up Premium Payments, of up to £6,000 for FE teachers, for those meeting the criteria. Leeds College of Building will fund successful candidates to become a qualified FE teacher.
