We require an enthusiastic, dynamic and effective EYFS fixed term class teacher to cover maternity leave from 5 January 2026 until 31 December 2026.

The Governors are looking to appoint an outstanding EYFS Teacher on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A focus on and an understanding of how to promote the best learning for children;
  • The ability to work towards challenging targets and accelerated progress for pupils including those with additional needs;
  • A commitment to improving children\’s learning through tailored provision;
  • The ability to enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning;
  • Enthusiasm, patience and a calm manner;
  • A variety of communication skills to respond to the needs of children and to work effectively with professionals and parents;
  • Experience of using a range of positive behaviour management techniques;
  • A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
