Overview
Working with children aged 0-5 years, and their families, is an important and highly rewarding role. As a Children\βs Support Worker, you will help to empower parents to create a healthy family environment to enable children living in our supported accommodation to feel safe and to thrive. You will work in a trauma informed way, with a holistic think-family approach, assessing families\β individual needs to create tailored support plans to safeguard and reduce the risk of further harm. You will achieve positive outcomes through a collaborative approach, offering practical and emotional support to families in both 121 and group settings and through partnership work with professionals such as Social Care, Health and Education. You will advocate and be the voice for our children and families, ensuring they have an increased sense of safety and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
Deliver a range of age-appropriate activities and services to children aged 0-5 years living in our refuges and dispersed properties in the Bradford and Keighley areas. Work with families who have been witness to, or victims of, domestic abuse and now live with their parent. Promote inclusivity, safeguard and confidentiality, maintain accurate records, and review progress with families. Work in an organised, adaptable way, managing workload and prioritising changing needs. Collaborate with professionals such as Social Care, Health and Education and contribute to partnership work. Support families and children to feel safe, empowered and improve their daily wellbeing.

Our team of committed and dedicated colleagues work with passion and integrity to deliver a holistic package of integrated support in our fast-changing environment. Contract and Benefits
Full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Β£26,751 to Β£27,898 depending on qualifications. Fixed term for 12 months. We want to be a great place to work so have attractive benefits;
