This is a full-time, reduced-year role: 37 hours a week, 39 weeks a year. We are looking for a Receptionist to join our Foundation Studies Team at Joseph Priestley Campus, Beeston. This position involves being the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors, with administrative tasks supporting the administration and management teams. The role supports a busy campus with approximately 180 students, with potential for growth.
What You Will Do
- Provide a warm welcome to all visitors, ensuring they sign in and are aware of safeguarding procedures.
- Support attendance recording and follow-up on absences by contacting students, parents, and transport departments.
- Assist the Campus Management team in daily operations, including sending letters and data entry into databases and spreadsheets.
- Handle enquiries via in person, email, and phone, adapting to a variety of tasks in a busy environment.
About You
- Experience in a busy customer service role, preferably in education.
- Experience with databases is advantageous.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft and Google suite.
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working within SEN provision is an advantage.
