About The Role

Are you experienced in delivering student recruitment events and activities? Could you build and maintain effective partnerships with key feeder schools and colleges? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, leading teams and delivering outstanding experiences? If so, we have the perfect role for you! We’re looking for a Student Recruitment Manager to lead, manage, and deliver high‑quality student recruitment events and outreach activities for our HE providers Leeds Conservatoire and University Centre Leeds, both part of Luminate Education Group.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team delivering on‑campus, online, and external student recruitment events and activities.
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment event and activity plans that align with our marketing and recruitment goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key schools, colleges, and community groups.
  • Provide expert advice on event logistics, strategy, and best practices to internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the recruitment and training of student ambassadors.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of events, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost‑effective and impactful activities.
  • Represent our institutions at external conferences and industry events.

This role involves some evening and weekend work, plus UK‑wide travel.

About You

  • Proven experience in event planning and management, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Strong people management skills, with experience leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent project management abilities, ensuring smooth and efficient event delivery.
  • A customer‑focused approach, with the ability to engage and inspire prospective students via our marketing material.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing budgets and evaluating event success.
  • A creative, problem‑solving mindset to enhance event innovation.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in student recruitment.
  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) is essential.
