About the Role
Leeds City College are recruiting for a MIS and School Administrator. They will provide efficient and accurate data and administrative service to the Specialist Provision Areas (Future Pathways/The Vine). Working closely with the leadership team, MIS colleagues, and external agencies, the role ensures data quality, supports process improvements, manages learner support administration, and provides day-to-day administrative coordination to support the effective running of the department.
What You Will Do
- Deliver a high-quality data and administrative service to Specialist Provision Areas, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate data management, and compliance with college and MIS protocols.
- Coordinate learner recruitment, admissions, enrolments, attendance, exams, Free School Meals, travel support, and related liaison with local authorities and external stakeholders.
- Support the Future Pathways Department through effective administration, meeting coordination, minute-taking, inbox management, and timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with MIS, SLT, and wider teams to improve systems, streamline processes, maintain data quality, support reporting requirements, and ensure compliance with DfE guidelines.
- Contribute to learner engagement and organisational development through social media promotion, educational visits, meetings, training, exam invigilation, and professional role-modelling.
About You
- English and Maths at Level 2.
- Experience using data to inform decision‑making, improve processes, and support service development.
- Experience in an educational environment and/or a data or administrative role, with a strong interest in developing a career in administration.
- Strong data management, manipulation, and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and Google platforms.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
