Full‑time reduced‑year role: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. We are seeking an ilearn Mentor to deliver group and one‑to‑one sessions to students, supporting independent learning and achievement. Actual salary: £24,515.69 per annum for 37 hours per week with progression to £25,133.38 per annum.

What You Will Do

  • Support and deliver 1‑to‑1 sessions to develop students’ independent skills.
  • Plan, tailor, and deliver classroom sessions for students of all abilities.
  • Differentially apply ilearn to curricula and engage with curriculum teams to deepen understanding.
  • Engage and promote our offer to all departments, signposting students to the best support.
  • Support strategy for growth by reporting and reviewing session progress and performance.
  • Review processes, recommend improvements, and use IT and online systems effectively.

About You

  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage students and curriculum staff at all levels.
  • Experience in skills building for students and familiarity with digital tools (e.g., Google Docs, Slides, Sheets).
  • Experience working cross‑departmentally in a multidisciplinary delivery role.
  • Experience in influencing and supporting students to stretch and challenge themselves, improving outcomes.
  • Initiative to use feedback to improve session performance on a 1‑to‑1 and classroom basis.
