About the Role
This is a Fixed Term contract for 18 months (duration of the apprenticeship).
Apprenticeship pay rates depend on age:
- Under 18 years – £15,144 per annum
- 18-20 years – £19,871 per annum
- 21+ years – £23,555 per annum
We are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice. The role involves supporting administration within the Enterprise and Employability Department, including quality teaching, learning, assessment processes, departmental calendars, recruitment, and CPD. You will also handle tasks like calendar invites, emails, and scheduling.
The School of Enterprise and Employability offers a range of study programmes for 16-18-year-olds, from Level 1 to Level 2, enabling progression to higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.
The department is vibrant, energetic, and passionate about a \’learning by doing\’ curriculum.
What You Will Do
- Support the Deputy Director, Deputy Head, and Programme Managers in managing Quality Teaching, Learning & Assessment processes.
- Assist in setting up and monitoring departmental calendars, activities, and events.
- Support recruitment and CPD initiatives for staff.
- Establish monitoring systems for departmental activities.
- Keep accurate minutes and circulate agendas for meetings.

- Experience with Microsoft Office and databases.
- Knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
