About The Role
Harrogate College are seeking a Joinery Assessor to join our Apprenticeship Department.
We are seeking an assessor to teach and assess on Level 2 joinery apprenticeships. This role is ideal for someone who is fully qualified to assess these qualifications and who has a range of vocational assessment experiences.
You will plan, co‑coordinate, assess and review the learning activities associated with learners in the workplace. You will also deliver and conduct training and assessment covering skills and competencies as appropriate on and off site as required.
What You Will Do
- Teach and assess Level 2 Joinery Apprenticeships.
- Ensure effective management of appointments, schedules and learner caseloads.
- Build employer relations to support the growth of the department.
About You
- Hold a Level 3 assessor qualification and have experience assessing the workplace competence of a range of teachers/assessors.
- Have current and up-to-date knowledge and experience of current assessment principles and practices.
- Be experienced in the joinery and carpentry industry.
