This is an extremely exciting time to be joining Leeds City Academy, one of the most rapidly improving schools within the Leeds area and county of West Yorkshire. We are an 11-16 academy and one of four schools within White Rose Academies Trust, a trust recognised nationally for its ground-breaking and transformational impact on the lives of the young people it serves. The academy had a Section 5 Inspection in May 2019 achieving an overall Good judgement with Leadership and Management judged as Outstanding.

Role: The role involves contributing to the development and enhancement of emotional wellbeing and mental health provision for children, young people, and their families at Leeds City Academy. This includes supporting the School Counsellor and Arch Leader in managing an active caseload of students requiring targeted support, as well as delivering evidence-based interventions in both group and one-to-one settings. You will also act as a Mental Health First Aider and play a key role in delivering staff training to promote and strengthen wellbeing support across the school.
