How you'll make a difference. Your exceptional leadership capabilities will inspire and empower, as you lead our Prudential Risk team. You will lead the programme of second line assurance and compliance monitoring over prudential risk management and assessments, ensuring the Society maintains a sustainable risk profile aligned with its strategy, risk profile and regulatory requirements.
What will you bring to the role?
- Strong, visible people leader who role models, cares, connects and coaches to drive performance, change, positive engagement and deliver against challenging objectives.
- Strong technical understanding of capital, liquidity, funding and balance sheet risk management within financial services.
- Extensive experience of ICAAP/ILAAP/Recovery Planning processes in banks or building societies.
- Experience of developing and implementing assurance frameworks and plans.
- Experience of preparing committee-level papers and presenting complex risk topics to senior leaders.
- Strong understanding of key regulatory expectations for prudential risk (e.g. PRA rulebook and supporting policies).
- Ability to challenge senior stakeholders effectively and constructively.
