How you'll make a difference
- You'll support the maintenance and delivery of operational risk frameworks, processes and reporting (as an integrated component of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework).
- You will undertake operational risk business partnering arrangements, cultivating effective relationships and networks, escalating issues swiftly whilst delivering operational risk training and awareness material.
What will you bring to the role?
- Be independently minded, analytical and able to challenge constructively and professionally.
- The ability to interface with stakeholders effectively to establish relationships and become a trusted advisor.
- Experience developing and implementing effective risk and control frameworks, aligned with industry good practice.
- Proven experience in financial services, ideally with strong knowledge around savings products and digital channels.
- Experience of undertaking risk assessment / RCSAs across business functions.
- Knowledge of relevant operational risk regulations / requirements.
- Experience of 2nd line incident reporting and analysis to determine root cause and trends.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Experience of operational risk oversight in change / transformation.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or hold an equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
- Understanding of change management (ideally in an oversight capacity) and agile methodology is desirable.
