As a Planning Optimisation Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver for our members and colleagues by ensuring we have the right resources in place to meet customer demand across our Customer Division. Role can be based at either our Leeds head office or Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Cobalt Business Park on a hybrid basis.

Our Planning Optimisation Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining workload volume forecasts and modelling colleague resource requirements across customer-facing teams. This includes analysing volumes such as new mortgage and savings account openings and translating insights into practical, actionable workforce resource plans. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the business and make full use of our workforce management tools. Your forecasts will inform hiring strategies and workforce decisions, ensuring we’re well positioned to meet changing business demands while continuing to deliver a great customer experience.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Experience of working in a Resource Planning function in a front office or back office environment
  • Exposure to Work Force Management solutions (preferably Calabrio)
  • Proven analytical skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Confident communicator and experienced with senior stakeholder engagement/presentations
  • Ability to work independently and at pace, staying calm and adaptable as priorities shift
