As our Database Administrator within our Corporate and Infrastructure function, you are passionate about making a difference in transforming our technology capability, especially as we move towards Azure cloud technologies. You will help deliver change and operate both on-prem and cloud based technical solutions on our platforms and perform DBA duties across all the Society’s SQL databases (development, testing and production) including Azure SQL, MS-SQL and Oracle. This is a great career development opportunity to support our future direction to Azure SQL.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience of Azure SQL Database Administration.
  • Planning and execution of upgrades and patches.
  • Performance and tuning of Databases.
  • Backup and recovery of databases.
  • Desired to have some experience administrating other SQL databases such as MS-SQL and/or Oracle.
