And you can play your part too as our Database Administrator, ensuring availability, security and performance of the databases that support the Society's systems.
How you'll make a difference: As our Database Administrator within our Corporate and Infrastructure function, you are passionate about making a difference in transforming our technology capability, especially as we move towards Azure cloud technologies. You will help deliver change and operate both on-prem and cloud based technical solutions on our platforms and perform DBA duties across all the Society's SQL databases (development, testing and production) – including Azure SQL, MS-SQL and Oracle. This is a great career development opportunity to support our future direction to Azure SQL.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Proven experience of Azure SQL Database Administration.
- Planning and execution of upgrades and patches.
- Performance and tuning of Databases.
- Backup and recovery of databases.
- Desired to have some experience administrating other SQL databases such as MS-SQL and/or Oracle.
