And you can play your part too, as our Technology and Resilience Oversight Lead to play a critical role in safeguarding the Society by designing and embedding effective second line oversight across technology, change and operational resilience.
How you'll make a difference: As our Technology and Resilience Oversight Lead, you'll lead a specialist team responsible for providing independent assurance that technology and resilience risks are identified, managed and controlled within our risk appetite and regulatory expectations. You will lead on themed reviews on technology and operational resilience with the assurance that the right controls are in place, including our Core banking replacement programme, our largest transformation programme in the Society's 150 year history.
What will you bring to the role?
- Proven leadership experience within Operational Resilience, IT Risk or IT Audit.
- Subject matter expert for IT risk, cyber security and change oversight.
- Experience leading thematic assurance or audit reviews, from scoping through to reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- The ability to think strategically, use data to inform decisions, and constructively challenge senior leaders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
