Role Overview
This entry level administration role offers a career pathway with a chance to progress within the role and earn up to £26,000. The role is based at our head office in Leeds city centre, just 5 minutes’ walk from the train station. Working hours are 7:30 – 4:30, Monday–Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within our Document Services (mailroom) function, you will efficiently handle inbound Society documents ensuring these are forwarded to the relevant departments, as well as processing outbound mail for our members and internal departments.
- The role will involve building strong relationships with operational colleagues across the Society, becoming knowledgeable on our Society’s different business areas, and making use of specialist mailroom equipment used industry‑wide.
- You will receive extensive support and training.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience of working in a mailroom, postal or distribution role
- Previous experience working in an administration role with excellent record‑keeping skills
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain service standards
- Confidence in communicating and building relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Full computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
