Overview
We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst, experienced in SQL and Oracle technologies, to be a part of a small development team, contributing to the delivery of our University’s business systems whilst promoting best practice and standards across the team. This role will be involved in key University projects, such as UCAS support and development and Student Loans Support and development.
Essential Skills
- Experience of software development.
- Strong customer relationship skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
Essential Experience and Technologies
- Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle database technologies
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of working in a HE environment.
Responsibilities
- Systems analysis, design, development, testing and implementation;
- Creation of knowledge artefacts;
- Provision of 2nd and 3rd line support services for in-house applications;
- Troubleshooting and systems enhancement.
