Job Description

Specialist Study Skills Tutor (Term Time Only)

Student Services are recruiting for Specialist Study Skills Tutors to provide specialist teaching to students with specific learning differences or autism. Full time and part time roles are available.

Responsibilities

The postholder will work with students across all levels of study to develop strategies and skills through one-to-one teaching and workshops to larger groups of students.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be familiar with strategies and aids to support learning for students with specific learning differences and autism and have experience of inclusive teaching.

We are a supportive team and value professional collaboration to ensure a consistent level of service for our students. We are therefore looking for someone who can work flexibly and build positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues in our wider Disability Service and across the university.

Location

The role will be based across our City Centre and Headingley campuses. Our Specialist Study Skills team sits within our wider Student Services team.
