We are investing in our academic provision and are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to teach into our planning curriculum, specifically leading and co-ordinating the MSc Urban and Rural Planning (Joint Distance Learning Consortium) distance learning course. We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic academic to make a key contribution to our new academic provision through teaching, research and enterprise. Successful candidates must be Chartered Town Planner status.
You will be able to teach and contribute to our research and enterprise portfolio in areas within our broader subject of planning, housing and geography but will principally focus on new the management and leadership of the Masters DL course. You will have scope to design and implement your research into teaching into the curriculum where applicable.
We welcome applicants with a PhD in planning or cognate discipline such as geography or architecture to apply.
You will join the School of the Built Environment, Engineering and Computing based at our City Campus and contribute to the delivery of our growing undergraduate and postgraduate provision. There are extensive and excellent specialist facilities located in a setting which offers many additional amenities for our students and staff.
