Leeds Beckett University is an exciting, modern university located in one of the UK's most vibrant student cities. The School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University encompasses sectors such as built environment and construction, human and natural environments, engineering industries, and computing and IT industries. The school offers a range of programmes including civil engineering, building services engineering, electronic and electrical engineering, robotics and automation, and engineering management. These courses are industry-linked and available in various modes, including full-time, part-time, distance learning, and Degree Apprenticeships.
Due to recent expansion, the School is seeking to recruit a high-calibre Principal Learning Support Officer to provide technical support within the Civil Engineering laboratory. Responsibilities include instructing students, demonstrating equipment use, supervising laboratory activities, and advising staff and students on equipment, materials, and techniques.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification or experience related to Civil Engineering or the Built Environment. Experience in delivering learning support and managing laboratory equipment is preferred but not essential.
