Part‑Time Lecturer – Primary/Secondary Initial Teacher Education (fixed term)
This is an exciting opportunity for part‑time hourly paid Lecturers to join the Carnegie School of Education at Leeds Beckett University. The role is a fixed‑term contract until 31/07/27. We are a leading provider of teacher education with an anti‑racist approach to ITE, curriculum, and partnership work, and a strong commitment to social justice.
Responsibilities
- Help deliver excellent teaching to support the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Work with students across programmes while they are on placement in schools.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) either in Primary or Secondary (English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics).
- Relevant school experience.
- Passion for the subject, inclusive education and a commitment to an anti‑racist, values‑based teaching approach.
