Information Resources Librarian (0.5FTE)
We are looking for an enthusiastic Information Resources Librarianto join our Resources and Discovery Team. The Team ensure that students,researchersand staff have the teaching, learning and research content they need. Working cross-team, the role contributes to all aspects of information resource acquisition and management, whilst leading on a specific area for the service.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills andbe able todemonstratehigh levelsofattention to detail. A positive attitude is essential,as well as problem-solving, timemanagementand prioritisation skills. The ability to work confidently independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team, is also essential.
For this role, we are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience of working with archive and special collection materials, including their cataloguing, digitisation and promotion.
This is a part time role working at both ourHeadingley and CityCampuses and suitable for a mixture of on campus andhybrid working. Working arrangements are dependenton the job role, team and Universityrequirementsand will be discussed with candidates at interview. Some flexibility around hours and days of working is possible and these will be agreed with the successful candidate.
